First, I have to tell you that we have named Ivy’s pea. He is officially Pedro el Chicharo.
Here are a few photos of Navarrete to complement Stacey’s comments yesterday.

P.S. Pedro is the perfect name for Ivy’s new cuddle buddy!!
Love the pictures Vic! You and Stacey make a great team with his descriptions and your photos! This could be fodder for a book on the camino! Keep up the good work! Hope the foot is better! How many km. have you gone and how many left to go? (or is that too difficult to even think about at this point?) Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and offer it up – you are going to make it to Heaven waay before me!!!
Pedro is a lovely name. I think he might just make Ivy change her mind about peas!
those churches are amazing. I wonder how they keep them up and how they were created in such small places in the first place. I know that many took centuries to build. We get impatient now and cut coroners. Most of all I am saddened when the new churches do not allow for the future of art and beauty to placed within them. Hope you are enjoying your day of rest.
