miss you at coffee , but are looking forward to hear all about the journey .blisters and all !
Well, I had my americano this morning, hope you are enjoying yours.
I’m sure it will be a big hit and not too heavy for you to carry along in your back pack.
My friend Mary Virtue is now on her way for another stint on the Camino so if you see her say, “it is a virtue to be merry!”
Best,
Casey
Mary is with the choir, if I remember correctly. If I hear music on the path I will look for her.
I’m a latecomer to your blog Mary Anne but shall be a more regular reader from now on. What an adventure! Hope your feet and muscles are starting to toughen up. We thought of you last night at book club and sent out a collective good wish for safe travels.
Muscles good, feet not so much, but walking continues.
Wouldn’t it be great if the Pea Man could treat your blisters as well as entertain Ivy. My feet hurt just thinking about your blisters, and I know how painful it is to try and walk (at least with shoes or boots on), in that situation, so I hope the day off will help them heal and calm down.
Following on my Camino map, it looks as if you are putting in some serious ascents and descents….I had in my mind that the route was more flat than that. All the more reason to enjoy the culture and cuisine native to all the towns you tramp through….pass the wine!
The down hills are the worst for the toes. Uphill you just tackle slowly and it doesn’t hurt.
Very cute!! Couldn’t help noticing the wine glasses in the background…..helpful for toe pain and all other ailments!!
